Tracking Turtles

Every year, hundreds of thousands of olive ridley turtles nest on the beaches of Odisha and return to the sea. This joint field survey with WWF-India and Dakshin Foundation was with the goal of studying the near-shore aggregations of these turtles.

MONItoring Riverine Ecosystems

Gangetic river dolphins and gharials, endangered species in the Indo-Gangetic Basin, face threats from habitat loss, poaching, and pollution. In collaboration with the Wildlife Conservation Trust we are used visual surveys, UAVs, and CPODs to study these species.
