Wings for wildlife
Wings for Wildlife explores the application of aerial drone technology in wildlife and environmental conservation across India. Targeted at researchers, conservationists, policymakers, and drone manufacturers, it evaluates the integration of drones into conservation practices.
Ghost gear
Abandoned, lost or otherwise discarded fishing gear (ALDFG), collectively and commonly known as ‘Ghost Gear’, is a major threat to marine life. Our intention is for this paper to assist with the mapping of target areas for ghost gear removal, thus reducing the threat to marine wildlife.
India Drone Ethics
While there are extant regulations governing the use of drones in India, these regulations do not include sufficient guidance on the ethics of drone use. We know that there is thus a need for an ethically-explicit framework for civilian drone operations in the Indian context.
